Master of Divinity (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) TESOL

The M.Div. (TESOL) prepares you to reach across boundaries as you work cross-culturally to support non-native speakers of English of all age levels in their goals to learn the language. All of your classes will be taught from a biblical worldview, so the teaching and leadership tools and techniques you learn will be theologically informed.

  • Methods for effectively teaching, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills at novice, intermediate, and advanced levels of proficiency
  • Tools and techniques for developing and evaluating language-teaching materials
  • How to use English teaching as a form of ministry
