Master of Divinity (Pastoral Care)

You’re no stranger to pastoral care — you already teach his Word, spread His gospel, and tend to the emotional and spiritual well-being of people. The M.Div. (Pastoral Care) equips you to more effectively provide that guidance as you work to spread God’s loving light.

You’ll learn a range of biblical-theological knowledge and practical leadership skills as well as the best practices of using biblical and counseling resources to provide support. When you graduate, you’ll be able to better listen, reach out, and heal all people, through God.

What You’ll Learn

  • Scriptural principles for spiritual and emotional health in multicultural settings
  • Theologically based counseling skills in discipleship ministry
  • Best practices for caring for the emotional and spiritual needs of others
  • How to foster healthy relationships among members of the body of Christ
  • Tools and techniques for effectively counseling individuals dealing with issues related to grief, loss, crisis, and/or addiction
