Dr. King joined the faculty of CIU’s Seminary & School of Ministry in 1997 and taught Pastoral Theology until 2003; he then served as director of Alumni Ministries until 2012 when he rejoined the Seminary & School of Ministry faculty; he has taught Ministry Studies from 2012 until the present.
Before coming to Columbia, he served as a youth pastor, associate staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, director of the Ben Lippen Conference Center, assistant director of the Billy Graham Training Center, and pastor of two congregations in North Carolina. He is an ordained minister in the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
